Some Family I've Heard of.

Here is a story I meant to tell,
for Frieda and some others as well,
A story that may be understood by some,
Too bad, if there are none.

1 was lost, alone and sad
+ 1 happened, ain't it glad?
to 2, was too, both anew
to start their life brand new

1 times 1, they multiply,
to 1 they could be simplified.
2 + 1, is 3, as it may be,
That was one happy family,

Alas, there came a divisor,
that did some subtracting
Removing 1 from the others
With cruel intentions

1 + 1 = 2
1 times 1 is 1--to 3
3 - 1 = 2
And that's the end of my hoola galoo

Ha JS....been waiting on your mathematical genius to show!! It's a catchy tune, I can dance to it, and you know how much numbers and I don't get along, but this I like! ;-)
