Same Things, Same Things...

Same Things, Same Things...

A Poem by Monster ^.^
"

When we do the same things the same way as everyone does them... do we still have our own identity?

"
I looked at the clock and saw that it ticked
The way it has always been ticking,
The water I drank, I noticed the drops,
still fall that way when they are dripping.

Yet another hour pass and another drop rather,
That does what has always been done,
And nothing's the same, though with the same fame;
Who ran was never who run.

Still why the round chain, are all these in vain,
or are they all but on the same train?
Should we stop what is known to hold on our own,
Should falling be stopped by the rain?

The answer lies deep, deep down in our hearts,
Like when bulls-eyes are hit by a dart,
The acts that we do, may not really be ours,
But what's within is always impart.

Really like the word usage and the questioning in it. Really makes you think :)
