Reality

Time flows so quickly,
It flies unnoticed,
When I pause and think back,
I wonder how long it's been.

When we laugh together,
when we cry together...
that time felt eternity,
but when was that again?

I wait in a long line,
I wait for the dish to be served...
But now when I think back,
did I get annoyed waiting?

Oh, how I regret,
wanting things to go fast,
because now that it is...
I can't make it go slow.
