Nextdoor'sA Story by Monster ^.^The love of your life is so near... yet so far!I'm in love.
I'm not really sure how or when it started, but it was probably when she saved me from a huge truck that was about to hit, many years back . Humiliating to be saved by girls, I know, but hey, I don't regret that. Why? Because other than the fact that I still kept my life, I have found a new meaning for it. Oh, yeah, the new meaning lives next door. But no, we aren't dating. I never told her how I felt. We were really close, but when my feelings grew, I just... shy-ed away from her. At first, she was alarmed, but soon she just thought I was plain weird. It went on that way, and I was down to just stealing glances at her every time we came out our houses at the same time. One day, I heard news that their family was moving. I had to do my thing if I wanted her to stay in my life forever! I skimmed through the net, searching ways to tell a girl you like her. Some were not in my jurisdiction, and some were just plain stupid. Soon enough, what I was left to do was buy a flower. Yeah, that ought to do it, I had said to myself. I bought them, twelve fresh roses from the city's famous flower shop. Now, the only thing left to do was confess my feelings. I walked to their front porch with shaking limbs. God, I gotta do something about this. I was about to run away again when the door creaked open. I prepared my most adorable smile... but was greeted by a fat and grumpy-looking lady. "Awww, are those for me?" She said, and grabbed the roses before I could say anything, "I knew the people here are nice! Glad I've moved in earlier than expected! I'm Glenda, by the way. The new tenant!" she smiled, but all I saw was my world going black. © 2013 Monster ^.^Reviews
