Do you have courage in your heart to take back what is yours?
See, the dawn has finally come, but only thy eyes open along with it. Why? Are you afraid of today's outcome? Does cowardice run along thy ancient bloodline?
Perhaps it did not reach your being,
what is our state at the present. The greedy among men has taken what's ours,
Don't you have the heart to take them back?
What sadness it brought to our men; our people! Our home, of all places, has lost its pride. Were once strongest, yet now powerless, Don't you want to gain that back?
We won't force you, oh fellow, No one will force no one. The love for your land is not in our hands but it is in your faith!
Ahoy! I call out loud! To those who hear me speak: To the men who want to fight, Let us go! For the daybreak has finally come!
This reminds me of the show Spartacus, where even the slaves felt the ability to fight back against the Romans for their own humanity. Gave rise to the rebellion. great write

Haha that's awesome :P love the show and love this poem :)
We all play with words from time-to-time. Having them express our thoughts and what we feel; now, THAT is the key.

I could not agree more, however, In most cases, I'd like my words to lead me to the end, and not the other way around. I want to be surprised by my own hands--or mind, for that matter. True, I can do a lot with the ten words, It could have brought me to a different end, but well, this is where it led. :)
