Death. isn't that the greatest obstacle to an eternity with your loved one? This one is a special piece of mine inspired by the story A Rose for Emily. Thanks to my friend who let me borrow her name!
My sweet Marianne, Haven't we promised to stay together forever? We were then under the red moon, a vow we proclaimed from deep in our hearts.
So then, why did you go? Why did you wither in time? Have you forgotten? Did you want to leave after all?
You may have gone to the netherworld, but our pact I will keep. I can't bear imagining your beauty below ground, so I'll hold you close to me.
No, I shan't be disgusted, even if thy lips crust away. I'd still kiss them lovingly, more than twice a day...
We would still sleep together, like before you left! No, I wouldn't let you go, For death can't break our promise forever.
Really, I was freaked out when I thought of writing this one! Blame my English subject for letting us read a story on Necrophilia! Trust me, this really isn't my genre! I just wanted to use my friend's name for something gory! hahaha

Before I accepted your friend request I brought this one up and read it... at the time I had to leave before leaving a comment - so I came back.
How we treat our thoughts... and our friends - is how we exist within the world around us.

I try not to put pics with words because people see the pic and miss what the thought says. Was the pic your "inspiration"? OR did you choose it after your write?

Sure, I had the picture in mind already, in fact, I did say we were required to read a topic on necrophilia, so I kinda want to write on that. the picture here, however, is chosen afterwards, but not without relation to the original pic in my mind.
But I do see your point, Images tend to decrease the capacity of free imagination. Nevertheless, I also add them so that my profile won't be boring to my eyes :)

what I am trying to point out IS after we write something and present it to another it is THEIR perception of the work that becomes relevant to them. They imprint THEIR voice on our words...THEIR intent on our meaning... and then respond with THEIR shade of understanding. As a word of wit - what does "dead" infer anyway? something "passed" away, past, gone(d), lost, no-more... so then isn't a necrophiliac a person obsessed with the past IN/DURING their PRESENT?

It doesn't have to do if they have a past or something. . . But I wanted to make it different... something like the story, A Rose for Emily... wherein Love led to that...
