Guessing GameA Story by Monster ^.^A boy was answering his homework when someone plays a game of 'guess who' with him.I wrote on the sheet of paper. They were answers for the
questions on page 143, but you’d never guess that since my handwriting look more like chicken scrawls. I wasn’t even sure if I got them
spot on, but since I went out of my ways just to write them, I’d say I did them
quite well. They were pretty easy, after all. Question three, especially, was a piece of cake; my hand started even before I finished reading: The effects of a high rate to the company--and then I paused. Hands slowly slid by the sides of
my head and covered my eyes. They were soft hand, and I knew whose they were.
My lips revealed the amusement. I was about to call out her name when-- “Guess who?!” I heard a friend of
hers call out somewhere from my right and I couldn’t help but smile all the
more. We’re playing this game? Are they serious? I was pretty curious on how people around us reacted. Well, who cares. I felt her giggling behind me, and something warm coursed through me. I sighed. Alright, I’ll let her have her fun. I placed my hands over hers and returned a small laugh. Hmmm… I hummed out loud, tagging along. I wasn't giving up before her; she'd reveal herself before I mention her name. She felt the challenge. Ha! As if I didn’t know her well enough. “Guess who? Guess who!” Her annoying friend continued. Didn’t she notice the change in atmosphere here?! My miss soft-hands probably got annoyed as well and couldn’t help but shush her friend. I laughed at this. Miss Soft-hands’ next attempt was
comical. She tried to deepen her voice to ask Guess Who herself and it sounded like an old lady with a
cough or something. I laughed of course, but it was funny,
and that was one of the things I love about her. Hmmm…. I teased. I wasn’t giving up that easily. I tried to loosen her hands. Perhaps playfully peak and give her a quick peck on the cheek, but she didn’t allow that and tighten her hold all the more. I sighed, but after taking a deep breath of her wonderful scent, I hoped we would stay like that. Oh, how I’d wish time would pause right that moment. “What’s wrong?” She asked, alarmed. I did sigh twice already, might it be she got worried? She was about to let go so I held her hands tight. I gave a soft smile. Hmmm… I continued playing, and she gave a blissful laugh. © 2013 Monster ^.^Author's Note
