Lost Chance 6/30/16

My first excerpt from my Complete The Story book.

He had to admit it: she was a natural. He was happy for her, but also a little jealous. And he felt bad about being jealous because she had always supported him, even when he wanted to stop being the star quarterback of the football team so he could pursue his dream in acting. She was just so damn good at acting for never trying it before. He had his big audition for the movie, and she was supposed to go with him for support. But he was scared that might want to audition as well. 

"You should read lines with me while we're there," he nervously said. 

He didn't want her to though. He thought that she would say no because she is usually too shy to talk in front of crowds. But she surprised him by saying, "I'd love to." The next day while at the audition they were reading lines and he had such an amazing feeling about what was to happen. He was glad that she read lines with him because she made him feel more comfortable. But her, she was just magnificent. After they finished the people asked her to read some stuff by herself. She was a totally transformed person, and it made him happy that she was possibly pursuing his dream with him. After she finished they thanked them for coming, and he asked when they should hear from them. They said, "Don't worry. She got the part. Thanks for helping her out today."

'She got my dream, and I got nothing,' he thought.
