Colorless

Colorless

A Poem by ElizabethRaine
"

Everything is washed out.

"
Help me.

I think I'm alone.
The darkness has swallowed me whole.
I can no longer hear cries that mirror my own.

I fear I'll fade into the shadows that I am submerged into.

My mind has lost the ability to remember.
I had an image I held so dear; it has faded too.
I know there were soft whispers and words meant to make me whole.
Those too have gone, leaving me with nothing but a feeling of despair.

I used to be so vibrant; I'm colorless here.

Author's Note

ElizabethRaine
I haven't been doing the 'Poetry' thing long and I don't do the rhyming kind, I just write how I feel about things and how characters I've created feel about things. This is what comes of it.
