I know that I'll be

the very one to ruin

all I've ever loved

 

I don’t deserve you

Never have and never will

Your love’s too golden

 

My love is copper

The coin that tried so hard to
be worth something, failed

 

I ripped us apart

accidentally - promise

Forgive me darling

 

Can't do much for you

I'll repay you in sunshine

and hope that's enough

I wonder about the story behind this poem. Do you keep a diary or a journal? I'm sure you do. Well, it sounds intriguing, something worth writing about in more depth someday if you haven't already. I love the sunshine and copper, I love haikus!
