Midyear Memory

Midyear Memory

A Poem by mess of gorgeous chaos

I still remember the clothes I wore on June 30 because darling,

how could I ever forget the way you looked at me in that red dress?

I still remember the way your voice sounded on June 30 because darling,

how could I ever forget the way you chose your words so carefully?

I still remember the time you kissed me goodnight on June 30 because darling,

how could I ever forget 10:27 when it has never looked the same on the clock ever since?

I really wish I could write something short yet really good like this. I love it! :)

Thank you, John! And practice makes perfect, I'm sure you can write something short as well :)
