Much More Complicated.

A person once told me

that humans are much too similar to a clock.

At first I thought that they had a point

The ticking- their heartbeat

The design- their personality

multiple types and colors and designated locations

And their placement shifts their view on the world.

After mulling it over

I have come to a different consensus.

Really, we are much more complicated than that.

Our heartbeats don't tick on a schedule 

but instead follows our emotions

SPEEDINGUP! then s l o w i n g    d o w n

through the many ups and downs we face.

Our personality changes 

day to day 

year to year

And it is not our view that changes the world 

but the world that changes our views.
