Dreams.

Dreams.

A Poem by Elizabeth Boughner
"

Heres What I Write During Class.

"

The dreams that lie within the mind,

Are dormant 'till we sleep.

They float around inside the head,

'Till we drift away.

And when we close our eyes we see,

The things we want, our fantacys.

The things we see are true us,

And nobody else can judge.

So while we see these amazing dreams,

You start to do one of two things.

You either awake to what is real,

Or you start to see the oppisite of appeal

These horors leave us awake at night,

Not wanting to go back to sleep.

Then when morning comes,

We see the light,

And are reminded of the good.

We brush ourselves off,

and continue on,

for yet another day.

i like this a lot! it speaks the exact truth about dreams and reminds me of that good feeling of waking up in the morning and seeing the sun peek over the horizon...not too bright or too dark. just right. unless of course you decide to sleep in which is fun also. haha. but really honest and good. loved it.
