Dreams.A Poem by Elizabeth BoughnerHeres What I Write During Class. The dreams that lie within the mind, Are dormant 'till we sleep. They float around inside the head, 'Till we drift away. And when we close our eyes we see, The things we want, our fantacys. The things we see are true us, And nobody else can judge. So while we see these amazing dreams, You start to do one of two things. You either awake to what is real, Or you start to see the oppisite of appeal These horors leave us awake at night, Not wanting to go back to sleep. Then when morning comes, We see the light, And are reminded of the good. We brush ourselves off, and continue on, for yet another day. © 2011 Elizabeth BoughnerReviews
