ATTEMPTING ANOTHER IMPOSSIBLE?

Introduction

Not sure how this will play out. Maybe add your telling selves in the comments and I can then add them to the story as serarate chapters? Or you could email/message me your contributions and I could add them that way?

I wish I was more technically minded sometimes; I could call my sons for help but they'd just roll their eyes and give me that look - "Mum, you're trying the impossible again. No one is going to bother!"

Is it impossible? Do any of you know a better way than the ones I suggested above? I want to see this play out, I want to read about other telling selves.

*Let's try and keep it fairly clean, I want young writers to participate as well. Some leniancy but I don't want any explicit/adult-only material, please.

your story is going to be a problem to create. The real story is what we have to do to speak about ourselves. The piece is very thought provoking, but you have to draw us out, to entice us in. The idea to express how we feel about ourselves. To allow the reader to realize that they have a voice, too. Let us allow them to express themselves with you and others.

I agree Richard. My idea was to have a 'chapter' devoted to each individual or perhaps sections depending on the length of each contribution. I wanted to see how different people exposed 'telling moments' in their lives. I envisioned how captivating this collaboration would be from both a contributor's and a reader's POV. I would welcome any and all suggestions you may have.

May be suggest, you want to see, their accomplishments and they approached the problem with them, pat themselves on the back. Show your support to them, have them enrich the lives of those who rea the piece. Do you think this may work better. Let me know?

The thing is how do I reach them? I'm fairly new here, about a month I think but I've been active and have made some contacts. Only way really to expose it to everyone is to turn it into a contest but that restricts the number of participants to maximum ten. I can sell the idea, it's the reach I am having a problem with.

Maybe create a group. I need positive stories. To give us some elation in our world.
We need to think of the good we have done, be it small or large. That is what I need
anyone interested?

Sounds good. I have no idea how to go about that so will try and find out. I like the positivity, I also would like some of life's humorous moments. There's a lot of seriousness and sadness sometimes. Maybe that's what makes the words flow?
