Winter 2015

A Poem by Elise Anton
"

Reflections on a lost love...

"

I ache. I do.

Missing has become my

everyday companion, my

delay from joining in and

carrying forth this self

sitting in waiting.

Even as you One

share joys and tears

I never witness, never hear.

Whoever holds you, tell me

do they know the mask

comes off, from time to time

and in those rare glimpses

do they see, or do they miss

the lights and sirens flashing

screaming?
