To be a man

To be a man

A Poem by Eli Jarman

Do you feel like a man when you call her names?

Do you feel like a man when you make her think she's to blame?

Do you feel like a man when you raise your hand?

Do you feel like a man when you make her scared to take a stand?

Treat her right, make her your queen, show what she means to you.
Never let her fight alone, she's strong but needs your hand.
Be there to wipe away all her tears, understand the pain in her eyes.
Pick her up cause she will always for you, don't under estimate her love.
Tell her daily your love, she just needs to hear it and so do you.
Hold her in your arms, it's a cold world outside, just comfort her.
Not hard to stay faithful, not hard to stay committed,
Easy to love, hard to prove, takes a lifetime to prove those promises you make.
