Drifting

Drifting

A Poem by Eli Jarman

Be my anchor to my drifting boat
Help keep the raging currents away
Be my lighthouse guiding me home
Don't let me crash into the rocky shore
Be my constellation to a lost sailor
Guide me back home to the ones I love
Be my port opening me up to new things
Show me what the world has to offer
But mostly be my reason to smile
To laugh at our silly talks late at night
But always remember I love you
Like the stars kissing the dark night sky
