A Poem by Eli Jarman

Beautiful but lonely girl
Her eyes filled with tears
She sits alone in the corner
Room cold and empty
And a heart to match
Whatever made her feel this way
But who can she trust
The things she wishes
Holding her stuffed puppy close
Alone she feels, alone she cries
No one understood
Or ever care why
Poor lonely girl in the corner
Pleading for someone
Wanting someone to talk to
Wishing she had a friend
Hugging her stuffed puppy close
With a final squeeze and cry
She whispered goodbye
As she swallows the pills
Sorry you couldn't help me
But no one could have
I never did myself anyways
As she whispered her final breath
With tears frozen like time
