You are welcome

You are welcome

A Poem by Emilie

Let me lay myself down for you

You can use me as your mat

Welcome, come on in

Take whatever you like

Got some s**t on your shoes

Wipe it off on me

Strip my walls bare

I’ll still be your shelter

Its ok, just take me for granted

But…one day

Your mistreatment will cause

This fortress to crumble

And when it does

You’ll be caught in the downfall

Even if you survive

You’ll be left standing

Staring at the rubble

Morning your loss
