Missing someone, in any context really... although it was written for the literal heaven and earth seperation

Heaven is so far away
Just a word at times
Nothing to hold
Nothing to see
Nowhere to go
Nowhere near me

Heaven is you
And you are heaven
You have gone forever
And heaven was never real.

Does it make sense? I tried to take what I was feeling and make it comprehensible.

Thanks for that review, Just A Guy, I suppose it's trying to take comfort in the idea of heaven, but not being able to hold on to it, realising that it's just an idea, that it doesn't exist, which means this person doesn't exist anymore either. I'm glad you liked it :-)

It is very nice work. You start by stating questions that we all have about Heaven. Then you tell us that what you had in mind was a person ... that being with this person was your idea of heaven.

And then sadly ... you state that it was always an illusion.

Aren't all relationships temporary? Loved ones move away, break up with us ... pass away.
