Tiny feetA Poem by elenielA flutter of anticipation,
a hush, a giggle. Paper wings and paper bows, satin ribbons and satin throws. Slowly, slowly, up, up it goes! Velvet curtain, glossy, sweet, up it goes, up, up and, spotlight does meet. A nervous giggle, another hush. Pitter-patter, pitter-patter, on and on. Tiny feet, tiny shoes, ruffled skirts and nervous girls. Spotlight meets the tiny feet. Dance, dance, story of romance. Of tragedy, of death, of swans and princes, and trance. Watch; in awe. Pitter-patter, pitter-patter, the story unfolds much more. The curtain falls. Tiny feet, tiny shoes. A giggle, a hush. © 2010 elenielReviews
