Like the MoonA Poem by PaintingWordsA poem about my budgie Luna
She's as swift as the wind
Coloured as a stormy day And she's shining like the moon Under the stars she lives As wild as her heart Feathers glisten in the moonlight Swoosh She's off Cutting through the night With wings feathered as knives Landing on a branch As the coulours of the sun Are painted across the sky And she waits Waits while the sun lives with all it's glory Till the moon rises And she can shine Shine as the brightest star Shine like the moon
