speed bumps

speed bumps

A Poem by Zoe

the trail of your fingers left a mark on my neck
you didn't see the speed bumps and
wipe your hands across your mouth, and laugh.
the worlds revolve like an ancient woman
one of your eyelashes fell on my breast
and those speed bumps
dissapeared
his soul stretched tight across the skies
that fade behind a city block
and sometimes love is just walking hands
yours is always dirty
but so is my heart and
i have lost my sight, smell, touch
how should i use them for your closer contact
just listen to me breathe, please,
just listen to me breathe.
