LITTLE FLYER

LITTLE FLYER

A Poem by kitty
"

Taking me back to the excitement of childhood days. Come join me as I reminesse.

"
         LITTLE FLYER ...My airbourne friend.
I fly, I fly but not as high to touch the sky.
Every afternoon at half past two
I hum to let you know I am here.
I glide along the shoreline blue.
I think of things that we could do.

You race along excitedly
I tip my wing and make a dip
Do silly things to show I'm hip!
I rise towards sky then double round
See, I can almost touch the ground!

We two have a friendship that's true and real,
one that no one can ever steal.
I wink my eye so you will know...
together we have so very far to go.
I have now found a 'friend' so very dear to me
              so very near to me.

On a verandah overlooking the sea a tiny Airplane passes by. Inspired I write for those who can remember being excited by the little, lovely things that help make up a child's life.

And a good write it is. I was flying right along with my rubber-band, balsawood, 5 and 10-cent store aircraft. Ah, the adventures we had. :) --- Thanks for the reboot.
