STRUMMING ALONGA Poem by kittyPutting order to my many poems in 'limbo'. found another to share. STRUMMING ALONG Sweet melodies once strummed for maiden wooed by song: she tuned in from far off land. He bared his soul when she came along. She listened in awe, attentively ... for in a haze she pictured him so strong. His intent was certainly not to stay for later he would not give her 'time of day'! He promised not anything: to him it was just a casual fling un alike they were, but for love alone No regrets ... no kindly acts to atone! He came not with flair or social pagentry just a princely heart and much galantry He ignited a heart that had been broken he was the prize token! The words he spoke were charged with love from within with tunes played on guitar or mandolin. She prayed to the Gods above that he in turn would return true love that it would be their destiny ...to be together for eternity. Created @11.00pm on Sunday 4th February 2017
