MY KNIGHT

MY KNIGHT

A Poem by kitty
"

The Feel of 'Old England' and knights of old.

"
               MY KNIGHT
I feel you in my spirit ~ in my being ..
as I embrace all thought of you.
My body, in its entirety, answers your call,
for nature gifted you to me.
Though battles in distant lands compel you
your loyalty lies within these castle walls
where a maiden awaits your pleasure sire.
I pray the Gods who rest their home on earth
return you to this existence ~ to the land of your birth
where reigns supreme patterns of your Celtic blood ..
made fluid, made strong through purest stock.
Prove then your might, your power: shatter thou
the chains that bind my noble knight...
Bring back my gallant knight to the land of the brave!

You had me thinking of the Crusades in days of olde England. Your Knight leaving his beloved country while his love waits faithfully for his return. There was something romantic about that and yet war is completely the opposite. War is carnage of mind and heart. Good morning kitty.

and this not only has the old time flavor but can fit in today's world...the wars, the prisoners of wars and the prayers that they be returned safely...as heroes...alive and well.

Indeed an empassioned and flowing piece of legend filled with desire and depictions of a brave warrior fighting far off wars as his damsel remains breathless for his return.
