POLE POSITIONA Poem by kitty'Triggered' by Formula 1's Lewis Hamilton ( Racings driver's win)
POLE POSITION
No competition there! She won fair and square. As a novice, she entered the race in a bet ~ she had to save face. As a challenger, the odds were stacked She owned the best chasis on track! The course was long and tough Of teasing - she had had enough. Competition grew stiff ~ was up against the best! Endurance and gaul was put to test. Many pitfalls along the way Much critique - much too much, you'd say! She clung on tight, with all her might and did it her way! Created @ 6.30AM Sunday 20th October 2018
