YOU AND I

Influenced by current/recent happenings round the world.

                             YOU AND I

You rely on me and I on you.

Part of a chain ~ useful in every catastrophe

Smug we can be  but only in adversity:

we can be forgiven for feeling that we are

      untouchable in our dynasties.

In troubled times we assist ...

crime and corruption  we will resist.

Unbelievers are in for a mammoth revelation ~

                 God does exist!

His greatness will be made known.

He foretold destruction ~ but not as before!

There is the need to clense and reform

   the minds of people worldwide...

   to reveal the 'secrets' they hide.

'His' word is coming to pass - but not as we suspect

        'His' recorded words you must inspect.

'His' promise is that destruction won't be as before

           no cross of blood upon the door!

Natural disasters have found its place around the world

       the scourge upon this land revealed

in the re-creation of a new and more secure space.

There are terrible natural disasters occuring as I write this response Kitty. A time when we should all show some understanding, love and compassion for our neighbours on this planet who are less fortunate than ourselves. I appreciate the sentiment in your lines.
