A STILL PICTUREA Poem by kittyOn the bank of the river Avon. Sharing thoughts and feelings.
A STILL PICTURE
Reflections I see - in a stillness that fascinates me. Swans so gracefully gliding by >>> Mallards and geese who choose to fly. Quietly sitting on this bank ... Will try to paint a picture, frank. They come, they pass by - traffic that's not shy. People of varying rank - parked on nearby bank. Passage through sounds of this age varies as I scribble on this page. Feeling the warmth of mid day sun feathered clouds seemingly on the run. Dogs off leads abounding over this space, playfully put their masters through their pace. Yet ...I am alone...observant structure reflecting on days of yore. A treasure of this tender age I will recall with print on page. When ink on paper I can no longer feed but relying on these words to read. I will recall the memories gathered here expressive thoughts I wish to share ... through sunshine rays>>> till the end of my days! From the archives I do recall.
