SilenceA Poem by Ekta Saigal Pandit
Have you ever heard the silence? ever heard the story it tells? when the city sleeps…when the night starts to relent and the soft glow of the morning gradually starts to engulf and take over the reins from the darkness… the soft mysterious blue allows itself to be swept off its feet slowly, losing its identity and merging into the penetrating rays of the light… then the silences are heard… the conversation between the darkness and the light… the soft caress of the morning and the slow submission of the night…. For its when the two talk are the silences heard… When not a word is exchanged and yet all is said Sometimes the silences are deafening and sometimes soothing Sometimes they nourish and sometimes damage they are the conversations that only the soul can hear but this time of the night the city sleeps and this time of the day the souls sleep © 2015 Ekta Saigal PanditReviews
