TO: MY FAMILY

I don't see you every day; I can't always show my love
I miss you every moment, I send prays up above
I used to be in the thick of you, surrounded by you all
Anxious to hang out with you whenever you would call
Being away has been hard on me and daily I miss all of you
The silly things you say about me that we know were never true
We have had some infighting, we argued over a few things
 Sometimes it got a little public; mostly it was behind the scenes
Passion is in our blood, we all share it; nothing we can do
So it’s hard to say who was right, it could be me or you
No matter what the incident, the moment should always pass
See we are all still family, and that means we are built to last
Even though I am far from you I hope you feel all my love
As I pray God showers all of you with blessings from above
I love all of my family as corny as this poem may sound
I just wanted to send my love even though I am not around

i loved the entire piece, but these lines were the best:
