I KNOW GOD IS JUST

We lose so much in life. It may seem unbearable but it is all apart of God's plan even when we don't understand it.

I believe God is just; even when I don't understand
On the ethereal scale of eternity he judges each and every man
In our moments of surrender when our tears drop like rain
I know that God is ever present and guides us through our pain
Tragedies will come; they will visit us all in time
Leaving us to cry in the darkness; praying for peace of mind

Lord why do I suffer?  How do I carry on?
Why did this have to happen?  
Why must my lot be drawn?

God acts with wisdom; he is just and his guidance pure
He would desire us not to hurt, but to earn salvation you must first endure
Yet when you feel your mind surrender, let him guide you through the storm
When hurt and sorrow rock you; let him give you strength to carry on
God gives us a free spirit to decide on all the choices we make
Sometimes we move in him and sometimes we make mistakes
Yet, no matter what we choose, to walk in faith; or wallow in sin
He allows us to make the decision that will in turn decide our end

I know that God is just; even when I don't understand
His love is tempered by his grace; his mercy allows us all to stand.
