A Poem by Eddie Phillips
"

Betrayal is like a knife in the heart!

"

Incised from the outside while being penetrated from within
Plunged into uncertainty by someone I called a friend
Thrusting and poking; your treachery ripped me up inside
Slicing away at visual parts of me that I can never hide
Eviscerated by your insanity; that you refused to restrain
I was panged by thoughts of clarity; that our love may be insane
Your piercing words of hatred helped mark the spots where you ran me through
I was impaled by the blade of a lover that never once was true
I ached for your love as I bled on your butchers block
I screamed in emotional agony but you refused to stop
I was injured by your lies but stayed transfixed by your flesh
I gave you private pieces of my body and you haphazardly cut away the rest
I lay here gushing and forgotten, bleeding from this sticky hole in my chest
Stabbed and left for dead by a lover I only gave my best

Very heart breaking words with every emotion ringing clear.
Good read Eddie. Sad, but good read. :)
