ONLY GOD CAN MAKE YOU RIGHTEOUS!

Only God can make you righteous
He is the redemption of all man
We all grapple with inner demons
We all toil in the Devil's sand
Some fight each day for salvation
Trying to gain ground anyway they can
Ultimately reaching out for restoration
By allowing God to extend his hand
He sets us on firm ground
Shields us from the Devil's wraith
God gives us a destination
He sets our feet on a holy path
Only God can make you righteous
Only he can save a desperate man
We need only call on his great mercy
Then reach for his mighty hand
