I DO NOT FEAR ETERNITY

I DO NOT FEAR ETERNITY

A Poem by Eddie Phillips
"

Eternity and Oblivion are two different things. Aspire to gain eternity. Oblivion is to be lost and forgotten. Live a just and faithful life

"

I do not fear eternity
For I know it is of Christ

The reward of peace everlasting
Given for living a faithful life

Eternity is the goal of man
Don't fear its sweet embrace

Aspire to stand there in it's reverence
Beholding our father's face

I DO fear Oblivion
For it is the land of limbo's lost
Full of those who foreswore God
and suffer sin's infernal cost
It is a place of fiery evil

Full of murderers, killers, and thieves
It is a place of nightmarish desolation
That I hope to never see

Oblivion is a cursed place
made for those that God forgot
Souls sentenced to eternal lament
When God said:
"Depart for I know you NOT!
