LOSS OF INNOCENCE

So much hate in this world. This came off my pen. The message is: Don't let your guard down!

 

 

A blessed man is not so complicated
He lives by very simple rules
He follows parental disciplines
Abides by the church's Golden Rule

He learns lessons from all his yesterdays
He won't see evil as his fate
His walks in faith as a habit
He takes nothing in life for sake

 

However in all of this majestic structure
There are those who live to be mean
They have lost sight of all life's majesty
They have let go of all their dreams

They will murder somebody's baby
Destroy all the peace we have in this life
Beat and kill their innocent brethren
Molest and lay hold to someone’s wife

We should never get their purpose twisted
These evil men know right from wrong
They just abide in pure unadulterated evil
Because their spirit of hope is all gone

 

The righteous can be their victims
Only if they don't bear and hold on to the light
For the prize of victory is joy everlasting
It is reserved for those who know how to fight

Brethren you have to be ever faithful
Keep these vicious predators always in sight
For they are creatures with no sacred conscience
They feed on all that is right

They would target all the dreamers
Leaving them only their hopeless screams
For to them righteous life is delusion
Since they no longer know how to dream

 

Brethren keep your focus on Heaven
God will protect you from the evil to come
Remember though the lions are ever stalking

Through God all victory is won!
