TERRA FIRMA

Plant love deep in hope and it will grow in joy.

 

 

In my utter most being
far down inside of me
Grows the seed that you planted
that I thought could never be
This kernel of desire
has found the inkling of my soul
A terra firma that once was barren
is now through love fertile soil
So out of the infertile blackness
where no nutriment could ever seep
Has grown a tree of devotion
from a seed of love so deep
