RIDICULOUS

I tried to tell a story in this poem about how we make rash moves in love.

 

Okay something silly just happened
Something in you has to be amiss
because the words you just said to me
were totally ridiculous

 

How can you say I don't love you?
How can you think that is fair?
When everything I do or say to you
should make you know that I care

 

In the heat of all our passion
you were sweltered by the love in my heart
now that things seem colder
you want to run and break our love apart

 

I can't stop your reactions
all I can do is just pray
that you don't act on this foolishness
and decide to leave here today

 

I beseech you to please hear me
I plead for you to understand
That I deeply truly love you
and want desperately to be your man

 

Still in the end its your decision
finality comes with the choice that you make
and what ever you choose to decide; I will accept it as fate

 

Well I will leave you to your decision
I will not stand here to fight, scream, or fuss
However; I pray that when I return
You haven't gave up on us

I tried to tell a story in this poem about how we make rash moves in love. That moment when you get angry and decide that its over..yet you still love that person. It happens and I wanted to write about it.
