JOY IN THE MORNING

JOY IN THE MORNING

A Poem by Eddie Phillips

Evil fears the morning; so its kills us before the day
It’s liquid of destruction turns Gods blessed dirt to clay
We must learn to fight its wrath and guard against its hurt
Evil is forever searching and on the edge of innocence is where it lurks

To survive Evil’s onslaught we must live the truth of God's word
For morning is always coming no matter what evil we may incur
So face the dismal umbrage and strive bravely through the pain
For your morning is fastly approaching and there is sunlight beyond the rain

Always remember that there is purpose in all the evil we must fight
For God said:
"Our JOY will come with the morning and our weeping endures only for the night!"
