YOU SAY:
Baby The taste of lust is gone
I no longer hunger to do you wrong
You're the manna that quenches my very soul
A sensual delight that makes me feel whole
I
know that I hurt you; I took the passion out of your voice
I know that I let
you down by making that one stupid choice
Absence has left me bewildered; I long for you every day
Baby, I am truly sorry; this lost "DAWG"
has finally found his way!
I SAY:
Man your words are poetic and pathetic
I know you chose them
well, to get me back
You molested my inner worth!
I wonder how you expect me to
react?
I almost let you destroy me
You were always slick in getting your way
I never would have known about anything
If I hadn't caught my "DAWG"
out at play
You say you're hurt and feeling bewildered
Masking it in the sweet sensitive words you say
Proclaiming how I quench your hunger
Reminiscing on how I satisfied you in every way
The truth is you had all this coming
You forgot every "DAWG" has his day
And while I
don't always advocate violence
I'll give you my own poetic metaphor for today:
You say you are no longer hungry
My seasoning quenches your
soul
You claim that I am your favorite delicacy
The meal that makes you
feel whole
Oh man, that metaphor is pretty
I am a taste of what your loves all about
There is beauty and poetry in its meaning
Only poisoned by the pathetic nature of your spout
My "DAWG" I am still happily leaving
I know exactly what you are all about
So I hope you catch "MY"
poetic meaning
As this poem "SMACKS THE TASTE OUT YOUR MOUTH!"
