The City Of Pity And CompassionA Poem by Eddie Phillips
There is a city called pity its dirty and run down
Everyone will visit this city as we journey through our lives
The people of pity aren't pretty Their newspaper is "THE MIRROR"
In this city of misfortune
Though we visit Pity
It is a town born of our ego
So if you find yourself in Pity
Get on and take a ride to
This city is far from Pity
So move your family out of Pity
Compassion is built on mercy
Pity leaves you wanting
