Ludicrously BlessedA Poem by Eddie PhillipsWoke up this morning and took my first breath
Endowed by the grace
He furthered his endowment
God knew he was clowning
Ludicrously blessed
See he could have just stopped right there, but see he is God
I walked into anger faces, We all know the ones may even be some
Angry at the fact they were working in this place, Never once thinking to give thanks to God for their clothes, their house, and car
I thanked for keeping me as I took my seat
Finished my day thankful and made my way back home and I sat downstairs alone
I took to my knees and thanked him for the blessed day
I admonished that I knew I was ludicrously blessed I went to bed knowing I was held tight inside his love
