ILLUSION'S OF A PLAYAA Poem by Eddie Phillips
Man you ain't no Playa! You're thinking like a fool
Professing a self
imposed destiny to live your life alone
Living a life of pure debauchery where nothing
seems to matter
Brothers open yourself to possibility, and learn in life what's
true
She was created as his equal, as all women will attest
So
brother drop the Playa role, you're living your life all wrong
King, don't lose your kingdom,
go claim your Queen in time
See the spirit of the Playa is temporary at best
You’re looking
for that one, that unconditional Lover,
She will always value you, and always give you cover
So drop the illusions of the
Playa and start to live your life
