FAITH

When we wake up in the morning

we just expect to breathe

It's just something you accept

we just know it will just be.

 

We take this big thing for granted

because it happens everyday

you wake, take a breath

and carry on your way.

 

It's a substantial belief, evidenced as fact

you think it, you believe it, so it becomes a fact.

What do you call this substantial evidential fact

to give it up to God and watch things react

 

Well I'll tell you it something we all need to know

Its strong, its powerful, and it help you spiritually grow.

It's our ticket to forever, to walk the streets of gold

It will make you walk upright in the Lord strong and bold

It will focus all your love despite the evil others do

It will open up doors that you could not get through

 

With it Peter walked with Jesus on the crashing waves,

and it will always help you make it through your day

Just keep your eyes on Jesus and he will guide your way

He will give focus to your desire and never let you stray

 

I'm not talking Magic

Because that my friends not real

I am talking the evidential proof

made real from what you feel

 

The simple dreams and beliefs of finding a loving spouse

of having a new car, or buying your first house

Despite your bad credit, and no love prospect in sight

God provides them all, but you just chuck it up as life!

 

We must work at it daily so it will not go dead

By focusing on his glory and believing what he said

We don't need a lot to get what we percieve

just a small little touch, the size of a mustard seed.

 

So exercise it daily.  Claim it!

and never take it for sake

Move with it in authority

and release this thing called

FAITH!
