You Can't Make It To Heaven Until You Pull Away From Hell

You Can't Make It To Heaven Until You Pull Away From Hell

A Poem by Eddie Phillips

I am sick of all this madness
There is too much ignorance!

Far too much pain!

I am tired of all these lies
Worn down from regimental shame

It seems this world is growing sicker
Festering from a disease without a cure
Some of us are trying to fight it
Most just choose to endure

Still, I know one day it will all be over
We will leave for peaceful shores
Remembering the pains of this life
As we leave to hurt nevermore

I know this time is destined
Everything will soon be well

You can't get into Heaven
Until you pull away from Hell!
