POETRY IS NOT APOLOGY

 

 

Never offer up apology utilizing the words of the Muse
You never script apology for someone you hurt or abuse
Apology should always be done face-to-face; risking a slap or an embrace
It allows the person you have harmed to move past your mistake.

 

Apology can brings about finality concerning a issue or a crime,
It makes real penance verifiable to yours and the victim's mind
In truth a true apology can never be just admission
When you give a real apology you must also give contrition.

 

Never write apology on paper; hidden in a poem or whimsical rhyme
For that only conceals your blame and offers no repentance to your crime
I wrote this simple poetic to give guidance and simply say:
A true apology must be done face-to-face; there is simply no other way.

I noticed one or two minor typos though, you may want to have a look at:
line 5: bring without the s and maybe 'an' issue and not 'a'?

I have seen this so many times before as of late.My son breaking up with his forst girlfriend via a text for imnstance.I made him go to her house and face her.My friend i fixed up with my lifes longest friendship who wanted to ewnd the relationship with a text.i say if you touched anothers life you need to face the tears you have brought and share the pain you bring . One of the best things Ive read in along long time .Truly touching
