I'm Not Sure What To Call This

I'm Not Sure What To Call This

A Poem by Jose Waldo
"

I keep trying to find a word to describe how I feel when I'm with you.

"

We sat in the basement

With white beams of sunlight flashing through the window.

Your arms wrapped around me like vines

Your fingers running through my hair

Like an endless maze of wind-swept spirals

I rested my head on your shoulder

And felt every inhale and exhale in your chest

Looking into your eyes

I saw countless amount of pain hidden

In beautiful dark brown crystals.

Love is not a strong enough word

So I’m not sure what to call this.

Love is a powerful emotion sometimes hard to put into words but still amounts to the same thing. The comfort a person bestows on another will always be a feeling of content and happiness.
