Life in Death

Life in Death

A Poem by ekbay72

A hundred years from now
Who knows what they'll see
The sun, the stars
May no longer be

The world filled with darkness
No life, no breath
With all at rest
Alive, just Death

But the moon shines high
And light lives on
It's not the worst, it's not the end
Life's still here, was never gone

A thoughtful poem, the last line I loved the most. "Life's still here, was never gone." Perfect ending. Really liked this.
