Gone, Gone, Gone

Gone, Gone, Gone

A Poem by Elizabeth J. Gelinger
"

For those volatile as alcohol.

"
Fall in love hard
Fall in love fast
But once you get bored
Darling, you just forget
You're just like the alcohol
That's filling up your cup
You dizzy up their minds
Then you're gone, gone, gone

Very interesting comparison... When they get bored in love or lose their interest in love they become like alcohol, making us feel like drunken and lost... I really like the concept of your poem, short yet speaks very thought provoking concept...

Incredibly relatable. I have a little bias in dealing with an addiction to both myself, but I must say I appreciate your view on the comparison and really do enjoy your style here. Keep up the writing, my friend.
