A mattered man

A mattered man

A Poem by Jean-Pierre Garcia

Grey apples, grape the grapples in a mantra of rain
ripples through
drizzling repetition with sails for sheets

I am one with time
I am one with time

Dreams shift and sex with a cucumber,
summer squash melt into zucchini curls
but the fact of the matter is with this dreamt girl
her father heard passionless passions
and he cries out instead of you
challenging to a duel where he is master of this, his courtly home
a room where his judgement passes a second's twirling merit
with waking strangeness that were to live silent
in tea
maple cast out to soup
saged with white wine, bittersweet sugar cubes,
 and the days to come

I am one with time
I am one with time

I'm a gnomic meanderer. I have just the right amount of neuroticism to lock myself in my room to write, but somehow have faked myself out of it by writing on the go or for the student newspaper I wo.. more..
